Overview

United South Medical Transport is a growing non-emergency medical transportation company providing safe, dependable, and professional transportation for individuals traveling to medical appointments, healthcare facilities, and other approved destinations.

We are building a transportation service centered around reliability, dignity, safety, and exceptional customer service.

PUNCTUALITY & RESPONSIBILITY ARE OUR TOP PRIORITIES

Punctuality, reliability, and responsibility are essential. Our passengers depend on us to get them to their medical appointments safely and on time.

A missed or late pickup can affect a patient’s medical care, a healthcare provider’s schedule, and the entire transportation network. If you are someone who takes pride in being on time, following through on commitments, and treating every passenger with respect, we want to hear from you.

Position Responsibilities

Arrive on time and prepared for every assigned trip.
Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles safely and professionally.
Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle as appropriate.
Properly secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
Communicate professionally with passengers, healthcare facilities, dispatch, and management.
Follow assigned routes and schedules.
Maintain accurate trip documentation.
Immediately communicate delays, vehicle issues, or other problems to dispatch/management.
Protect passenger privacy and confidentiality.
Follow all applicable company, safety, NEMT, Medicaid, and transportation requirements.
Treat every passenger with patience, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications

Valid Georgia driver’s license
Responsible driving history
Ability to pass required background screening
Ability to pass required drug screening
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to safely operate a wheelchair-accessible vehicle
Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
NEMT experience preferred, but not required
Healthcare, home care, transportation, veterans services, or customer service experience is a plus
CPR/First Aid and passenger assistance training are a plus

Training will be provided to qualified candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability, and commitment to passenger safety.

Compensation & Bonuses

Starting Pay: $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Full-time and part-time positions available.
