Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a warm welcome.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly using the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred).
Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to provide informed recommendations.
Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
Assist with phone etiquette by taking reservations or answering questions regarding the menu or restaurant policies.

Experience

Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a food service role is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving techniques and hospitality best practices.
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but not mandatory.
