Do you have a passion for dance and a heart for teaching? We're looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and dependable multi-genre dance instructor to join our Dance Factory family!
Our ideal instructor loves working with children, is committed to helping dancers of all ages grow in both confidence and technique, and creates a classroom where every student feels encouraged, challenged, and inspired. We value teachers who bring energy, creativity, professionalism, and kindness to every class.
Applicants should have experience teaching multiple dance styles, be comfortable working with dancers of all ages and ability levels, and be able to safely and actively move throughout the classroom to demonstrate choreography, provide corrections, and maintain a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment.

Class Information:
- Instructors must must have the ability to work with children ages 6 years old through 18 years old.
- Classes are: Monday 4:15 - 6:30 PM and Friday 4:30 - 7:00 PM (total of 6 classes).
- Genres are: Ballet, Funk, Jazz, and Leaps & Turns.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 23 years old
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a studio
- Dance degree preferred, but not required
- Own transportation
- Eager to join a dance family and participate in teacher outings/activities
- Able to demonstrate anything taught in the room
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and teach the curriculum for each class
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Act as a role model by maintaining a positive attitude and helping others learn
- Remain calm during class activities when things go wrong (eg. a child falling)
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate with parents about the progress of their child (if needed)
- Maintain positive relationships with students and other teachers
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings required of instructors
Salary: $30-$50 dependent on experience
