We are seeking a Staff Accountant who thrives on more than closing the books. This role offers broad exposure across accounting operations, cost accounting support, inventory activity, and manufacturing-related workflows, making it a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build both technical depth and business understanding.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, gain visibility into production and day-to-day operations, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen accuracy, reporting, and workflow efficiency across the business. What You’ll Accomplish

Own core accounting activities across AP, AR, aging monitoring, and general ledger support
Support month-end close, including financial reporting and balance sheet account reconciliations
Partner cross-functionally with operations and internal teams to track and maintain inventory, cost, and operational data
Assist with cost accounting activities, including service cost tracking, variance analysis, and reporting
Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen daily workflows
Support tax compliance and audit readiness by preparing schedules, ensuring proper record retention, and maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation.
Contribute to management reporting through Excel-based analysis and manage organized accounting records
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the department and organization

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of accounting experience, with manufacturing or inventory exposure strongly preferred
Experience with an ERP system is required; Sage 100 preferred, or comparable experience with systems such as QuickBooks. Relevant certifications or education may be considered
Solid understanding of AP/AR, GL, and month-end close
Comfort working in a hands-on, detail-driven environment with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
Ability to partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information
Willingness to learn new systems and use technology to improve workflows and reporting efficiency

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and practical experience

Salary Range

$83,000 – $92,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
