Shift: 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (Typically 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekend Rotation: One Weekend of Call Per Month

MedOp Solutions is partnering with a premier healthcare system in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to hire an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a Cath Lab professional with strong procedural experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and the flexibility to participate in a shared call rotation while supporting a variety of cardiovascular interventions.

- Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
- Coronary angiography
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Emergency STEMI interventions
- Other invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms and specialized cardiovascular equipment
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures
- Document procedures accurately using EPIC
- Participate in scheduled call coverage for emergency cases
- Float to affiliated facilities within your skill set as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- EPIC experience required
- Strong knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory imaging systems
- Hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Fluoroscopy systems
- EMR: EPIC
- Department-specific orientation provided prior to independent assignment
- Equipment and workflow training included
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Typical shift hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (schedule may vary based on department needs)
- On-call responsibilities currently include:
- 1–2 weekday overnight call shifts (5:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- One weekend call rotation per month (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM)
- Holiday coverage provided through the call rotation as needed
- Floating may be required within the hospital or to affiliated facilities within approximately 40 miles based on staffing needs
