Full Job Description

Patient Care Technician

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Patient Care Technician to join the OHOW team! You will work for a small, team-oriented organization that values patient and staff satisfaction.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holiday requirements. Shift times may vary based on PCT shift rotation.

The position requires CNA & BLS certification. Hospital experience is preferred.

Core Responsibilities

Aids in movement and placement of patients.
Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
Assumes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Customer/patient service experience.
Hospital experience preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
BLS Certificate

Location: Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin 475 W River Woods Pkwy, Glendale, WI 53212

This position is located at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin (OHOW). OHOW was established in 2001 as a joint venture between a group of orthopedic surgeons and Ascension Wisconsin.

We provide surgery, inpatient overnight stays, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation services.
