The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care within the Outpatient / Ambulatory setting. This position is located in Wauwatosa, WI at the Froedtert & MCW Center for Advanced Care. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.
Work with an experienced and talented team of 8 vascular surgeons and 2 APPs to provide high-quality care to vascular patients in the outpatient / ambulatory setting, including pre and post-operative care, routine surveillance of vascular conditions, and wound care
Predominantly provide care to adult patients, though will occasionally provide care to patients under age 18
Will see and care for patients on an independent clinic schedule with the ability to quickly and easily collaborate with attending vascular surgeons as needed
Frequently collaborate with other specialty care teams to provide care including Vascular Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Surgery, Infectious Disease, and Physical Medicine & Rehab
Will directly report to the APP Manager with indirect reports to the Division Administrator and Division Chief
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
No weekend, holiday, or call requirements

The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery provides comprehensive care for patients with diseases of the vascular system. Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in vascular surgery or a surgical subspecialty preferred, including ambulatory clinic management, inpatient consultative care, perioperative management, and operating room support.
Open to experienced APPs; new graduates may be considered with relevant clinical training.
Minimum Education:
Advanced Practice Nurse: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization.
