Full Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

MAJOR DUTIES:

Understand and apply safe work practices.

Understand and apply basic Metal Polishing principles.

Understand and apply basic Metal Buffing principles.

Basic understanding and operation of Lea Wheel.

Ability to Identify Materials and apply appropriate Finishes.

Basic understanding and application of raw materials.

Basic understanding and operation of Burlington Belt Sander.

Read and understand work orders

Full understanding and application of measuring equipment tape measure, and calipers.

Set up and Operate Sand Blaster

Basic understanding and operation of all polishing hand tools

Basic understanding and operation of crane Paint Room.

Basic understanding of Basic Paint operations, Tanks, Set Up, Liquid and Powder

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:

High School or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:

Basic Math, Blueprint and Measuring.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to routinely lift up to 50 Lb.’s
