MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST OR TECHNICIAN (MT OR MLT)

As a PRN Medical Technologist or Technician at Minden Medical Center, you will experience a varied schedule that can accommodate your availability. Daily responsibilities include performing laboratory tests and analyses with precision, processing specimens, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. You can expect to collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to interpret results and assist in patient diagnostics. Your role will require flexibility, as you may work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on the needs of the department.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST OR TECHNICIAN (MT OR MLT) JOB

To thrive as a PRN Medical Technologist or Technician at Minden Medical Center, candidates must possess a current Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Licensure as a CLS-Generalist or CLS-Technician. Successful applicants should have at least six months of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Key skills include a strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately conduct and analyze laboratory tests. Proficiency in laboratory software and diagnostic tools is essential for managing specimens and interpreting results efficiently.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
