Full Job Description

Job Opportunity: Accounting Assistant

Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Accounting Assistant at our Minden location.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all guests feel welcome and are appropriately checking in and out of the facility
Administer phone calls
Process grain settlements
Manage accounts payable
Support customer-related tasks

Run errands and handle mail as required
Maintain adequate quantities of office and facility supplies

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm with additional hours required during harvest

Qualifications:

Experience in grain accounting and accounts payable
Associate’s degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting preferred
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
