Full Job Description

At Inneos, we develop and manufacture VCSEL-based components and subsystems for medical, military, aerospace, and commercial OEMs, as well as finished products for consumers. Our products are often used as high-definition video interconnects in operating rooms, security systems, flight control, conference rooms, and our fastest-growing segment, home theaters. But our products are also used in datacom, sensing, and automation applications. We are a small but growing company with operations in Pleasanton, CA, and our own semiconductor design and fabrication facility in Zephyr Cove, NV, located just off the shoreline of Lake Tahoe.

Job Summary:

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring the maintenance of current financial records and processes, encompassing full-stack daily bookkeeping (AR, AP, Payroll, bank recon), general accounting entries, cost accounting, and quarter-end close tasks. You will occasionally take on project responsibilities related to the accounting system, including upgrades and expansions, and implementing government-compliant accounting procedures. This is primarily an on-site position with some flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities include:

End-to-end financial transactions—covering full-stack AP and AR, full-stack payroll, fixed asset records, and general ledger entries—using current accounting systems (NetSuite) and workflows
General accounting allocations and entries
Weekly payment runs, including checks and electronic payments
Account reconciliations and other tasks related to month end close
Month-end budget-tracking reports to key managers
With guidance from the Controller, preparation of quarterly financial reporting packages
Collaborating closely with production and procurement teams, ensure accurate recording of raw materials transactions for manufacturing

Education and Experience:

BS in Accounting, or equivalent education and experience
5+ years of experience in accounting
2+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite
Experience in a corporate environment and month- or quarter-end reporting
Experience in detailed accounts payable and fixed asset management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Highly proficient with NetSuite and MS Excel
Highly proficient in verbal and written communication
Proficiency in data management and recordkeeping
Proficiency in GAAP and all corporate accounting workflows
Working knowledge of inventory management systems and processes
Experience with DCAA or government project accounting is a strong plus
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and acts to implement effective solutions

Must be legally authorized to work in US without employer sponsorship.
