Full Job Description

The IT Systems & Business Applications Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, support, and continuous improvement of the company's business systems. This role serves as the primary internal technology leader by supporting users, managing external IT service providers, leading business system projects, and ensuring reliable integration between enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and other business systems. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on technical support and project execution to improve business processes and operational efficiency.

Essential Job Functions

Business Applications:

Serve as the business owner for SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, EDI, and other enterprise applications.
Coordinate enhancements with external SAP consultants and software vendors.
Ensure application availability and business continuity.

Help Desk:

Provide second-level technical support and serve as the escalation point for end-user issues.
Perform first-level support as needed to maintain service levels during absences or periods of high demand.
Vendor Management
Manage relationships and performance of outsourced IT providers.
Coordinate infrastructure support with vendors and corporate IT.
Prioritize work performed by external SAP development partners.
Manage IT software licensing, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts

Projects:

Lead projects involving automation, system integration, reporting, workflow improvements, and business process optimization.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes across Finance, Manufacturing, Service, Sales, and Operations.
Manage integrations between SAP, Salesforce, EDI, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise applications.
Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment of application changes.
Cybersecurity
Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives with corporate IT and external vendors.
Ensure compliance with company security standards and best practices.
Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning.

Leadership:

Supervise the IT Support Specialist.
Set priorities and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.

Requirements:

Physical Demands

Perform stationary work 90% of the time using a computer and applicable office equipment
Move about inside the office and production areas of the building 10% of the time to access files, office equipment and communicate with colleagues
Travel 5% to visit vendors, attend trade shows, continuing education, parent companies

Education/Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Minimum 10 years of Information Systems experience
Minimum 2-5 years leading IT projects and coordinating vendors and technical teams.
Major project implementation experience.
Experience supporting SAP ECC or S/4HANA in a manufacturing environment, including production, supply chain, logistics, and finance processes.
Experience with EDI, e-commerce platforms, Salesforce CRM, ADP Timekeeping systems.
Microsoft 365 administration, Power Platform, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
Power BI
API integrations, Process automation
Possess a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
