Full Job Description

Immediate openings for Tree Climber on our tree crew! Precision has been in the tree business
for over 40 years and is looking to expand! Work as part of a team in a fast paced outdoor
setting. Experienced candidates will be responsible for safe and proper methods of tree care,
maintenance, and removal using a rope and saddle, with and without spurs. Ideal candidates have a CDL and will utilize a bucket truck or backyard lift when access allows. Applicants will also assist with
ground operations as needed. Workers will start and end the day at our Little Canada, MN office.
There is plenty of room to grow in this rewarding line of work. Hybrid Positions available for
applicants with multiple skills.

Responsibilities:
 Receive direction from crew lead
 Drive pickup truck with trailer or bucket truck to jobsite. (CDL preferred)
 Safely climb or operate lifts with careful consideration of surroundings
 Prune and remove trees using proper methods
 Lower limbs with riggings systems when necessary
 Assist with rigging and cutting for crane assisted tree pruning and removals
 Assist groundsman with all ground operations as needed when not in the tree

Requirements:
 Show up on time
 Positive attitude
 Excellent communication
 1+ year experience in aerial tree work
 Willingness to continue to learn
 Valid CDL preferred (Willing to help obtain)
 Able to push, pull, and lift 50+ pounds consistently
 Able to stand on feet all day
 Arborist Certification preferred (Willing to help obtain)

Benefits
 $35-$55 per hour, paid weekly
 $60 - $100 per hour when climbing
 Occasional Prevailing Wage (~$70/hr)
