Since 1954 Warning Lites of Minnesota has been a leading traffic control service in the Twin Cities and outstate areas contributing to the safety of the driving public with signage, and traffic control devices and services. We have a dedicated Event Division that sets the standard for all events large and small. We help design and set up major community events and sporting events at the Stadiums and Arenas, as well as marathons, parades, concerts, and almost every other type of event you have seen and heard about. We take pride in offering unsurpassed customer service, as well as experienced and professional teams, helping create a safe environment for all events. What we are looking for:

Organized, accurate and energetic candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Event Customer Support & Planning Specialist ensures customer expectations are met by analyzing event needs, thoroughly and accurately developing layouts and timelines, and preparing accurate quotes that support business objectives. This role offers opportunities to grow within our Event Division and gain hands-on experience with high-profile events.

Some of what you’ll do:

Communication with customers and municipal partners (cities), with possible attendance at customer meetings.
Develop plans/layouts that help ensure safe, efficient, and successful events.
Formulate quotes for team review.
Handle overflow work requests and special projects assigned by the Division Manager.

We want you to join the Warning Lites team if you can say yes to the following:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the position.
Ability to operate general office equipment effectively such as desktop/laptop, printer, copier, phone to accomplish work tasks.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic graphics.
Must have the ability to effectively interact and communicate with external and internal customers in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, working independently with a high degree of problem solving.
Detail orientation sufficient to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks while simultaneously meeting all goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to take direction while working independently with a high level of personal responsibility.
Teamwork - possess and demonstrates objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

Competitive hourly starting pay - $25 - $30/hr. depending on education and experience**

**The expected compensation represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to training, experience, skills, work location, licensure, etc.

Qualified candidates who are given a conditional job offer must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and criminal background check.
