At Math Teachers Press, we are dedicated to helping all students succeed in mathematics—especially those who struggle most. We support educators with research-based assessments and engaging, hands-on instructional resources designed for intervention and supplemental instruction.

We are expanding our sales team and seeking an Educational Sales Consultant to manage and grow a defined territory. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong presentation skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve individual sales goals within the assigned territory
Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management
Conduct sales activities such as cold calls, virtual meetings, in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and conference presentations
Build and maintain strong relationships with district leaders, educators, and decision-makers
Develop expertise in Moving with Math products and serve as a subject matter expert
Deliver compelling sales presentations, professional development sessions, and webinars
Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions
Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM, including daily updates, activity tracking, and sales reporting

Qualifications

Proven success in territory or outside sales (education or EdTech preferred)
Strong presentation and communication skills
Experience working with K–12 schools or districts
Ability to travel within assigned territory
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
Passion for improving student outcomes in mathematics
