Overview:

The Materials Coordinator supports Endeavor Air Technical Operations by ensuring safe, timely, and efficient procurement and shipment of materials needed to rectify aircraft on the ground (AOG) situations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure delivery of materials to all maintenance bases and outstations for unscheduled maintenance.
Facilitate the transfer and shipping of AOG materials needed to rectify an AOG situation.
Procure materials as needed to rectify AOG situations.
Notify relevant parties of materials movement.
Coordinate with the parts/shipping department on parts transfers.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Coordinate with couriers to set up and monitor shipments.

Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar technical field preferred.
Knowledge in functional areas of purchasing, inventory control, and Supply Chain preferred.
Familiarity with checking available inventory and creating purchase orders with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software preferred.
Professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and able to work with all levels of an organization.
Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Computer work, in a typical office environment sitting for the majority of the day.
Repetitive motion such as: typing.
Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
The AOG (Materials) Services Department operates 24/7/365, we conduct shift bids twice per year, shifts are awarded based on seniority, Materials Coordinators are expected to be able to work any shift.
Ability to work additional overtime hours as needed.
Fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
