Full Job Description

About Us:

Midwest Autism & Psychological Services (MAPS) is a dedicated team of clinicians committed to closing the gap in early intervention autism assessments. Our mission is to provide timely evaluations, ensuring that young children receive the services and support they need to thrive. With a strong focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) testing, we aim to increase early diagnosis opportunities, reducing long wait times for families in need.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/Ph.D.) who is passionate about early childhood autism evaluations and psychological testing. This position offers flexibility to work part-time or full-time with control over scheduling. In-person evaluations are conducted in Bloomington while report writing can be done remotely. We have many children that need Cognitive testing completed for county waiver services.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments with a primary focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for children and a diverse client population.
Interpret and analyze assessment results to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations.
Complete timely and detailed psychological evaluation reports.
Communicate findings and next steps with families in a compassionate and informative manner.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 10+ licensed clinicians to ensure high quality care and services.

Qualifications:

✔ Current Licensed Psychologist (LP) license in Minnesota (Required)

✔ Doctorate (PsyD or Ph.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)

✔ Experience with ASD assessments and early childhood evaluations preferred

✔ Strong report-writing and diagnostic skills

✔ Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team

✔ Passion for early intervention and improving access to autism diagnostic services

Work Schedule & Flexibility:

Hybrid work option: Evaluations are conducted in-person at our Bloomington office; paperwork and report writing can be done remotely. We ask that CMDE (reevaluations) are completed within 2 weeks and initial diagnostic assessments with a CMDE is completed within 2-4 weeks.
Choose your own hours: We provide flexibility for part-time or full-time scheduling.
Once credentialing is complete, hours can range from part-time to full-time, based on your availability.
