Dance Studio Administrator
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Dance Studio Administrator to become an integral part of our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences for students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the studio.
- Serve as a welcoming and professional point of contact for students, families, and visitors.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and through email.
- Create, maintain, and organize spreadsheets, reports, schedules, and administrative records with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with registration, tuition management, studio communications, and event coordination.
- Develop systems and processes that improve efficiency and organization.
- Anticipate potential issues and proactively implement solutions before they become problems.
- Support studio owners, instructors, and staff with administrative and operational needs.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Help coordinate competitions, performances, recitals, and studio events.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of professional administrative experience
- Previous experience working in or with a competitive dance studio (preferred or strongly desired)
- Advanced proficiency in creating and managing spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative and solve problems independently
- The ability to think critically and develop practical solutions without waiting for direction
- Professional, friendly, and polished customer service skills when interacting with clients and families
- High standards of honesty, integrity, reliability, and dependability
- The ability to work well independently while also collaborating with a team
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following experience would be a significant advantage:
- Costume design experience
- Sewing and garment alteration skills
- Experience organizing costume inventory for performances or competitions
- Knowledge of dance competition schedules, registration processes, and event logistics
- Familiarity with dance studio management software

Pay: $17.85 - $19.25 per hour
