Wyldwolf Games is proud to work with a wide network of afterschool and community programs throughout the Twin Cities Metro. These summer programs range in length from single “one-shot” Dungeons & Dragons Adventures to ongoing D&D Campaigns that run for a 4-day week (Mon - Thurs) camp. Our Game Masters (GMs) take youth of all ages on adventures guided by their imagination, while teaching critical thinking, teamwork, roleplay, and puzzle-solving skills.
Creativity is empowered, and Game Masters are counted on to provide flexible gameplay that meets each student's needs. Game Masters are part of a creative collaborative and are given access to a massive toolbox to draw on to provide gameplay to their players.
We are currently hiring GMs who are available for any of the following D&D summer youth programs:
- June 15 - 19, 12:45 PM - 4:15 PM
- June 22 - 25, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- June 29 - July 2, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
- July 6 - July 9, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- July 13 - July 16, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- July 20 - July 13, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- July 27 - July 30, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- August 3 - August 6, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- August 10 - August 13, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Selected GMs will have the opportunity to lead and support other school and community programs as they become available throughout the summer, fall, and beyond.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Guide students through age-appropriate fantasy adventures where they work as a team to problem solve and communicate as part of a variety of school and community programs.
- Create a welcoming place for kids to explore, collaborate, and have fun.
- Develop connections and learn about students’ interests so they can tailor the story to fit individuals.
- Assist with various on-site activities as needed.
- Assist with off-site marketing opportunities and events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of 5th Edition game-play and familiarity with tabletop role-playing games, including previous game master experience.
- Enjoy working with youth, and know how to adjust game-play to meet youth needs
- Creative and inventive, with the ability to accept constructive criticism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to stay on schedule.
- Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
Compensation: $20/hour.
