Now Hiring: Experienced FOH Manager for a High-Volume, Upscale Casual, Full-Service Restaurant

Join one of Eagan’s busiest and most respected restaurants. We’re looking for a hands-on Front of House Manager with real full-service experience who can lead from the floor, manage a high-volume environment, and be part of a strong, collaborative leadership team.

Job Overview

Mason Jar Kitchen & Bar is seeking a strong, hospitality-driven Front of House Manager to join our leadership team in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, understands how to manage multiple front-of-house departments, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Front of House Manager to oversee daily service operations and support our FOH team, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.

You will be part of an established front-of-house leadership team, working alongside the General Manager and other FOH managers to execute daily operations and maintain service standards.

This is a collaborative role, where managers work together to support the floor, the team, and the overall guest experience.

This is a high-volume, full-service restaurant management role—not a fast food or quick-service position. The ideal candidate has experience managing floor operations, building schedules across multiple FOH departments, and maintaining service standards during busy shifts.

In addition to daily floor leadership, managers may take ownership of specific operational areas such as private dining, catering, training, special events, beverage programs, or other key departments. Responsibilities are shared across the management team based on strengths and business needs, and final department assignments will be determined as the team is built.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service, hospitality, and cleanliness
Manage and build staff schedules across multiple FOH departments (servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners)
Lead, coach, and develop FOH team members to maintain strong performance and accountability
Actively manage the floor during service, supporting staff and ensuring smooth execution
Maintain strong communication between front and back of house
Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members
Support and help develop initiatives such as staff training programs, special events, private dining, catering, and beverage programs
Monitor labor and assist in managing staffing levels based on business needs
Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and health/safety regulations
Utilize POS systems (TOAST preferred) and reservation systems (RESY preferred) effectively

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (required)
Experience managing multiple FOH departments and building staff schedules
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of hospitality and guest service standards

Important Note

This role requires experience in a full-service restaurant environment with structured front-of-house operations.

Candidates with only fast food, quick-service, or limited-service backgrounds will not be the right fit for this position.

Scheduling & Availability

Open and flexible availability is required (morning, afternoon, and evening shifts)
Must be available to work weekends
This role requires a schedule based on business needs—fixed or limited availability will not be considered
While we are not open late-night, flexibility across all service periods is essential
