Full Job Description

The University of Minnesota Law School is accepting applications for one to two tenure-track or tenured faculty positions to begin in the 2027-28 academic year. Applicants should hold a J.D. or degree of equivalent rank and should demonstrate outstanding accomplishment and/or potential in scholarship and teaching. We encourage applicants who work in any area of law, as we have a range of curricular needs. These include: evidence; professional responsibility; health law; immigration; torts; and Native American law. Rank upon hire and salary will depend on qualifications. The salary range for this job is:

entry level - $155,000 - $170,000
junior laterals typically range from $170,000 - $200,000, and
very senior laterals up to $280,000 annually.
