Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Financial Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services, wealth management, and investment management. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships while providing expert advice on financial planning, investment strategies, and account management. The Financial Advisor will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals through tailored solutions and comprehensive support.

Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of our team by supporting the lead advisor/owner in servicing existing clients, growing his practice and by focusing upon new client acquisition and enhancing direct client relationships.

Be directly responsible for the book of business (Prefer to have $10MM -$25MM of existing business) that he/she brings
Work directly with clients, in collaboration with the lead advisor
Develop personalized financial plans for clients based on their individual needs and objectives.
Find new prospects and schedule new appointments
Support lead advisor in marketing initiatives to grow the business
Generating additional sales and new clients
Will focus on new client acquisition into the practice especially for financial planning
Help bring new assets for being managed in to the practice
Find life insurance/long-term care leads into the practice and work on helping clients get life/long-term care insurance.
Manage client accounts by providing ongoing advice and adjustments to investment strategies as necessary.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and trust-building practices.
Ensure compliance with securities law and regulations while advising clients on various investment options.
Provide insights into tax implications related to investments and financial decisions.
Collaborate with other financial professionals to enhance service offerings and deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance knowledge in technical accounting, wealth management, and customer relationship management.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree
Series 7 and 66 Licenses (or equivalent) and Life & Health License required
2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry (familiarity with account types, mutual funds, stocks, financial planning etc.) preferred
Proven experience in financial advisory roles or related fields within the financial services industry.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer relationship management.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to provide effective financial solutions.
