Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled HPLC Testing Lab Analytical Chemist to join our quality control team. This role involves performing precise analytical testing on pharmaceutical and biotechnological products using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and other advanced laboratory techniques. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, FDA regulations, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and product development within a dynamic laboratory environment.

Duties

Conduct HPLC analyses to quantify active ingredients and impurities in raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Perform wet chemistry tests, spectroscopic analyses, and microbiological assessments as required.
Calibrate laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and microscopes to ensure accurate measurements.
Maintain detailed documentation of all testing procedures, results, and deviations in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Ensure all testing complies with GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and quality control standards.
Prepare calibration standards, reagents, and solutions for routine testing procedures.
Troubleshoot analytical instruments and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
Assist in method development, validation, and transfer activities for new analytical procedures.
Support laboratory audits and inspections by maintaining compliance documentation and demonstrating adherence to regulatory requirements.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques including chromatography (HPLC, gas chromatography), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, spectrophotometry), microscopy, biochemistry, microbiology, and wet chemistry methods.
Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and quality control processes within a regulated laboratory setting.
Experience with calibration procedures for laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers and chromatographs.
Proficiency in operating Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data management.
Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation including high-performance liquid chromatography systems and spectrophotometers.
Ability to interpret complex data sets accurately and troubleshoot analytical issues effectively.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Strong communication skills for documenting results clearly and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is integral to maintaining the highest quality standards in our product portfolio through precise analytical testing and rigorous compliance with industry regulations.

Pay: $45.00 - $76.00 per hour
