KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fit, tack, and weld structural steel components to blueprint and shop drawing specifications.

Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Perform MIG welding and plasma cutting as required by the job.

Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.

Complete layout and fit-up work from shop drawings with precision and attention to detail.

Inspect completed welds and fit-ups for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.

Operate fabrication equipment — including grinders, plasma cutters, saws, and press brakes — hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.

Rig material and operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as needed.

Follow all safety procedures per the employee handbook and safety manual.

Communicate and coordinate closely with your team to hit production and delivery goals.

Keep your work area and shared spaces clean and organized — everyone sweeps the floor.

QUALIFICATIONS

No experience required, although it's extremely helpful. We are willing to train from the ground up.

Familiarity with common shop tools and fabrication equipment is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills for measurement and layout.

Ability to accurately read a standard tape measure and work to close tolerances.

Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. safely and repeatedly, climb ladders, and stand for a full shift.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and/ or as part of a team.
