Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, versatile leader to join our team as an Assistant Manager / Personal Trainer. This dual-threat role is perfect for someone who is as passionate about business growth and community engagement as they are about changing lives on the weight floor. You will be a key driver in local marketing, member retention, and delivering high-quality personal training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Club Operations & Leadership

Assist the Club Manager in daily operations, including membership processing, lead management, and facility oversight.
Conduct professional club tours and sales presentations for prospective members.
Ensure the facility meets our high standards for cleanliness and equipment maintenance.

2. Sales & Growth

Follow a structured sales process to drive personal training and membership revenue.
Perform outbound calls and follow-ups to convert prospects into long-term members.
Outreach & Marketing: Execute community involvement initiatives and create organic social media content to highlight client transformations and gym culture.

3. Coaching & Member Experience

Conduct comprehensive fitness consultations, including body composition scans and goal-setting sessions.
Deliver pre-designed 1-on-1 or small group training sessions (1–15 members) that are safe, effective, and engaging.
Proactively engage with members on the floor to provide accountability and ensure proper exercise technique.
Manage member "onboarding" by educating them on the Anytime Fitness App and available recovery tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field is a plus.
Certifications: Nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, etc.) and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. (Note: We offer a reimbursement program for those looking to complete their certification post-hiring).
Experience: Previous experience in fitness sales, personal training, or retail management is preferred.
Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn gym management software (Club OS).
A "self-starter" mentality with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
