Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, manage inventory, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold exceptional customer service, and ensure compliance with all health regulations. Responsibilities

Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Lead staff training initiatives to develop culinary skills, food safety practices, and excellent customer service standards.
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct team meetings, performance evaluations, and interviewing processes to build a motivated and skilled hospitality team.
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
Support catering, banquet, or special event food production as needed to expand service offerings.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution.

Experience

Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles with a focus on team leadership and staff development.
Familiarity with food safety management practices, inventory control procedures, and budgeting within the food industry.
Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of restaurant management principles such as shift management, cost control, profit analysis, and customer service excellence.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently.
