Key Responsibilities

Assist the surgeon during evaluations and surgical procedures
Prepare and educate patients prior to surgery
Accurately document evaluation, medical history, clinical notes and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards
Turn over and prepare surgical rooms efficiently between procedures
Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical experience
Follow Granger Oral Surgery Standards of Practice and established protocols

Qualifications

Dental assisting experience required
Active radiography license required
Oral surgery experience preferred, but not required
CPR certification
Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced surgical environment
