Crumbl Weslaco — Baker/Mixer Position
Crumbl is looking for upbeat, friendly, and self-motivated Bakers/Mixers with open availability to join our team. Training begins at $8/hour. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute to work. Baker Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and accurately follow Crumbl recipes and procedures
- Create a welcoming, friendly, and positive environment for every guest.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients using mixers, blenders, ovens, and other baking equipment
- Decorate and present finished products to Crumbl quality standards
- Perform quality and food safety checks on ingredients and completed products
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, processing orders, and creating a welcoming environment
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, deliveries, and production levels
- Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and completed on time
- Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations and equipment throughout each shift
- Support team operations by communicating effectively, solving problems, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Baker Requirements
- Food Handler’s Permit required before start date
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds regularly
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Maintain smooth workflow between mixing, baking, balling, decorating, quality control, packaging, and guest service.
- Attention to detail, especially when performing food quality and safety inspections
- Basic math and computer skills

- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hot, and high-energy environment

Shift Leader
Position Summary
As a Crumbl Shift Leader, you are responsible for leading each shift with excellence by creating an exceptional guest experience, maintaining Crumbl’s high standards for quality, cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork, while supporting the development and success of every team member. Shift Leaders lead by example, inspire accountability, and ensure every cookie, dessert, and guest interaction reflects the Crumbl brand.
You will work alongside the management team to execute daily operations, coach employees in real time, maintain labor efficiency, and ensure every shift runs smoothly from open to close.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience
- Create a welcoming, friendly, and positive environment for every guest.
- Ensure every guest receives fast, accurate, and genuine service.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally while seeking opportunities to exceed expectations.
- Maintain Crumbl presentation standards throughout the bakery.
- Promote seasonal products, catering, and specialty menu items.
- Ensure every order meets Crumbl’s quality standards before leaving the bakery.
Lead Daily Operations
- Lead and direct the team throughout each shift.
- Assign responsibilities and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain smooth workflow between mixing, baking, balling, decorating, quality control, packaging, and guest service.
- Execute opening, shift change, and closing procedures according to company standards.
- Assist management in achieving operational goals, sales objectives, and labor targets.
- Communicate shift priorities clearly and effectively.
Maintain Product Quality & Brand Standards
- Ensure every cookie is prepared according to Crumbl recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
- Monitor product freshness, baking times, decorating consistency, and quality control.
- Ensure all ingredients are handled, stored, and rotated properly using FIFO procedures.
- Minimize waste while maintaining product excellence.
- Uphold Crumbl recipes and procedures without shortcuts or substitutions unless approved.
Coach, Develop & Lead the Team
- Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Provide real-time coaching, constructive feedback, and recognition to team members.
- Help train new employees on Crumbl procedures, recipes, guest service, and operational standards.
- Encourage teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Hold team members accountable to company expectations while fostering a supportive work environment.
- Communicate professionally with managers and teammates.
Maintain Cleanliness, Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure the bakery remains clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
- Follow and enforce all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Verify proper handwashing, glove use, temperature control, labeling, and storage procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
- Promote a culture of safety by identifying and correcting hazards immediately.
Inventory & Operational Excellence
- Assist with inventory counts and product organization.
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Help reduce food waste through proper portioning and inventory rotation.
- Ensure supplies are stocked and workstations remain organized throughout each shift.
Cash Handling & Administrative Responsibilities
- Follow all cash handling and register procedures accurately.
- Assist with opening and closing cash reconciliation when assigned.
- Complete required shift documentation and operational checklists.
- Protect company assets by following security procedures and policies.
- Support management with additional operational responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Food Handlers
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous leadership or food service experience preferred.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
