Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of our Accounting Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping information organized, solving discrepancies, and helping financial processes run smoothly. The Accounting Clerk will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, credit card administration, and general accounting workflows.

What You’ll Do

Support daily accounting operations through accurate recordkeeping and document management
Assist with accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, and processing
Support accounts receivable, including billing, deposits, and payment tracking
Manage and reconcile company credit card activity and supporting documentation
Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and ledger entries to identify discrepancies
Prepare accounting reports and maintain accurate financial records
Research and correct transaction or account discrepancies as needed
Partner with accountants and accounting leadership to support department workflows and deadlines

What We’re Looking For

Previous administrative, clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning accounting software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred
