Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an MRI/CT Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in advanced imaging modalities, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT), to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. You will work in a fast-paced environment that values precision, patient care, and continuous learning, contributing to improved health outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

Operate MRI and CT imaging equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate interpretation.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the scan.
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
Review medical histories and understand relevant medical terminology to tailor imaging protocols effectively.
Assist radiologists and physicians in performing diagnostic evaluations by providing high-quality images and relevant clinical information.
Keep detailed records of procedures performed, equipment maintenance, and patient data while complying with all regulatory standards and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating MRI and CT scanners with a strong understanding of their technical functionalities.
Knowledge of DEXA scanning, sonography, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to support comprehensive imaging services.
Familiarity with medical imaging principles, diagnostic evaluation processes, and anatomy knowledge essential for accurate image acquisition.
Ability to implement aseptic techniques diligently to prevent infections during procedures.
Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
Certification or licensure as an MRI/CT technologist is preferred; relevant training in ultrasound or DEXA scans is a plus.
