We are seeking a candidate capable of assisting our agency's day-to-day customer service operations and helping advance our agency growth and retention goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in needs-based sales or customer care, with a proven track recording of managing systems and leading people. Insurance can be confusing and this role requires someone who has the care and patience to explain coverages, make recommendations and execute on vital tasks. As an Insurance Service Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing and new clients, assessing their insurance needs, identifying gaps in coverage and providing tailored solutions that meet their unique situation. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to leverage technology in the sales and service process.

Responsibilities

Proactively develop and maintain relationships with existing clients; help clients understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Utilize Salesforce and other technology tools to manage client accounts and track sales activities effectively.
Communicate clearly and persuasively with clients to explain policy options and benefits.
Negotiate terms of insurance policies to ensure client satisfaction while meeting company objectives.
Oversee day-to-day service operations and execution such as policy changes, payments, adding additional coverage, and auditing in-book data.
Teach, train and model agency best practices to ensure service team excellence
Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and service targets and contribute to overall business development efforts.

Desired Experience & Skillset

Insurance industry experience is NOT required but is a plus. The most important characteristics for our agency are: 1) excellent work ethic 2) great attitude and 3) exceptional coachability.
Proven experience in sales or service, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage clients at all levels.
Excellent computer skills

Other important details regarding this position:

Position requires the candidate to obtain licensing in property/ casualty insurance within the first 30 days of employment.
Candidates must pass required Federal criminal background checks and demonstrate fiduciary responsibility and be able to pass a drug test.
