Revo Training Center is Hiring: Part-Time Strength Coach / Personal Trainer
Missoula, Montana — Local Applicants Only
At Revo Training Center, we’re building a team of career coaches—people who want to master their craft, think critically, and help others stay capable for life.
We work with active adults, professionals, and outdoor athletes—from people chasing longevity and energy for their daily lives to mountain, trail, and backcountry athletes pushing performance.
If you want to become a great coach, keep reading.
What This Role Actually Is
This is not a “run a class and keep people moving” position.
You will be expected to:
- Coach group classes and semi-private sessions with intention
- Teach movement and communicate why—not just demonstrate exercises
- Build real relationships with members and guide long-term progress
- Develop your eye for coaching, assessment, and programming skills
- Continue improving your craft over time
We value precision, progression, and intent in everything we do.
Who We Work With
Our members are active Missoulians of all abilities and backgrounds. We’re proud of our community and the folks who make it up. And we’re proud of the broad range of clients that we’re able to help everyday.
They are:
- Active adults and professionals who train to stay capable for life
- Outdoor athletes—runners, skiers, bikers, and mountain athletes
- People who take their health and performance seriously
You’ll be coaching people who care—and expect a high level of coaching in return.
Coaching Development at Revo
We don’t treat coaching like a side gig—we treat it like a craft.
Revo has invested over tens of thousands of dollars in continuing education, courses, and coach development for ourselves and our staff.
We have provided:
- Paid education and course opportunities
- Weekly in-house coaching development sessions
- Ongoing mentorship and feedback
- A structured system for improving how you coach
You won’t be thrown in unprepared—but you also won’t be allowed to stay the same.
You won't be thrown in unprepared. But you also won't be allowed to stay the same.
What You’re Joining
Revo has built something real in Missoula — an established member community, a strong referral base, and roughly 50 new leads coming through the door every month. You're not starting from scratch or building a client base in a vacuum. You're stepping into a system that works, a team that supports each other, and a community that makes the job worth showing up for.
We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us — not someone looking for a temporary platform. If you're motivated by building something as part of a team, we’re a great fit for you.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Are a certified personal trainer (CPT) and CPR certified (non-negotiable)
- Have at least 1 year of coaching experience or a relevant degree
- View coaching as a long-term career, not a side hustle
- Can coach both groups and individuals with clarity and confidence
- Are coachable, curious, and take ownership of your development
- Enjoy building real relationships with clients
- Are organized, reliable, and professional
- Train consistently—you practice what you preach
Bonus: You live the Missoula lifestyle—trails, mountains, skis, bikes.
This Isn’t For You If:
- You’re looking for a short-term or side job
- You prefer simple, plug-and-play coaching without deeper understanding of movement and programming concepts
- You’re not interested in continuing to develop your craft
- You’re uncomfortable teaching and communicating in front of others
- You're looking for a solo platform rather than a place to build something with a team
Compensation & Growth
- Starting pay at $25/hour for group coaching
- Higher earning potential through personal training, semi-private onboarding, and performance-based opportunities
- A clear pathway to grow your role as the business expands
We’re not just offering hours—we’re offering the opportunity to build a real coaching career.
What You’ll Be Part Of
- A tight-knit team of career coaches who take pride in their work
- A community of members who are engaged, motivated, and enjoyable to coach
- A training environment built around capability, longevity, and performance
At Revo, we believe in training to be capable for life whether that means performing in the mountains or simply keeping up with your kids.
