Job Overview
We are seeking a experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with energy and precision. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service delivery in line with high standards of quality and presentation
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
Help the Head Chef manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
Coordinate menu planning and execution, incorporating fine dining techniques and catering requirements
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures
Lead food preparation activities, maintaining consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes
Oversee banquet and catering events, ensuring timely setup and exceptional service delivery during large functions

Qualifications

Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting is essential
Culinary experience with expertise in food production, cooking techniques, and menu planning
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff toward excellence
Knowledge of inventory management systems, food safety protocols, and kitchen equipment operation
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles with a focus on shift management and operational oversight
Familiarity with catering logistics, banquet service standards, and large-scale event coordination
