Soup Dumpling Makers are key candidates for our future leadership roles. We provide comprehensive cross-training in all kitchen operations, as we believe a great leader must understand every detail of the craft. Join us not just as an employee, but as a future partner and restaurant manager.

Job Description

You will be responsible for dough making, filling preparation, and hand-making soup dumplings. This position requires focus and patience—most of your time will be spent quietly crafting dumplings one by one at our open kitchen window. If you enjoy immersing yourself in handmade work and transforming flour into art, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare dough and fillings according to recipes and standards
Hand-make soup dumplings (approx. 30g each, 16-18 pleats), ensuring consistent size and no leakage
Safely operate dough divider, dough sheeter, and other equipment
Ensure adequate supply of dumplings during peak hours
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following food safety regulations
Participate in closing cleaning and equipment maintenance

Requirements

Key traits:Patient, steady, detail-oriented, able to focus on repetitive tasks
Experience:Dough making or hand-making experience preferred (dumplings, baozi, wonton, etc.); willing to train motivated beginners

Evaluation Standard:
After training, you must be able to independently complete one tray of soup dumplings (approx. 54pieces) within 15 minutes to pass and become a regular employee.
