Full Job Description

Outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist with strong people skills to join our team in a key position.

This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while managing accounts payable functions to ensure timely payment of invoices and expenses. The ideal candidate will maintain confidentiality, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
Maintain payroll records and employee payroll information.
Calculate wages, overtime, deductions and benefits.
Process and verify vendor invoices for payment.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Communicate with employees, vendors, and management regarding payroll and payment inquiries.
Generate payroll and accounts payable reports as requested.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Knowledge of general ledger reconciliations and accounting principles.
Proficiency with payroll and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, SAP, or similar).
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Skills:

5+ years of experience in payroll processing and accounts payable.
Experience with ADP Payroll System and SAP accounting systems.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
