POSITION SUMMARY
The Safety Intern supports the organization’s health and safety programs by assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of workplace safety initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in identifying hazards, conducting safety inspections, maintaining compliance documentation, and promoting a culture of safety across all departments. The intern collaborates with safety leaders, human resource leaders, and production teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies while gaining practical knowledge of occupational health and safety practices. They are responsible for supporting and coordinating a wide range of administrative and operational functions to ensure efficient business operations. This role manages office processes, maintains records, assists with HR-related tasks, and supports leadership with reporting and coordination efforts. The Business Administrator plays a key role in improving workflows, ensuring compliance with company policies, and facilitating communication across departments to drive organizational effectiveness
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week.

· Work with Safety and HR department to complete tasks.
· Distribute and collect toolbox talks – monthly.
· Assist with Safety audits – weekly.
· Assist with rigging repair/order.
· Assist with documentation for Safety Meetings
· Assist with administrative tasks for injuries / incidents.
· Assist with incident investigations.
· Assist with compliance inspections.
· Shop Walk Throughs and Safety monitoring.
· Performs recordkeeping functions for HR and Safety documentation.
· Assists in distributing and receiving HR and Safety documentation.
· Ability to assist in safety inspections by completing and monitoring.
· Collects documentation and files for the company
