Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and create an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
Train new team members on food handling, customer service protocols, and operational procedures
Support shift management by scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and resolving operational issues promptly
Assist in budgeting efforts and monitor financial performance to meet business goals
Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in casual dining or quick-service settings

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing
Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, interviewing, and team management
Knowledge of budgeting practices within a hospitality environment
Prior experience in casual dining, quick service restaurants, or fine dining establishments is preferred
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
