Our Austin-based independent insurance agency has proudly served clients for more than 40 years. We represent several respected insurance carriers, allowing us to offer customized coverage for auto, home, business, life, and health insurance.
We are seeking motivated, sales-driven professionals who hold an active Texas Property and Casualty insurance license. This is a fully remote opportunity, and candidates may work from anywhere in the United States.
Position Overview
As a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent, you will help prospective clients identify and purchase insurance coverage that meets their personal or business needs. You will have access to training, ongoing support, and lead opportunities while building your own book of business.
This is an independent, commission-only position with a generous commission structure.
Responsibilities
- Sell property and casualty insurance products, including auto, home, renters, and commercial coverage.
- Consult with prospective clients to understand their coverage needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Explain policy options, coverage limits, premiums, and carrier requirements clearly.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through professional communication and dependable service.
- Follow up with leads and manage prospects throughout the sales process.
- Comply with Texas insurance regulations, licensing requirements, and carrier guidelines.

Qualifications
- Active Texas Property and Casualty insurance license
- Residence in Texas is not required
- Strong communication, sales, and customer-service skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Ability to manage leads and follow up consistently
- Previous insurance or sales experience is preferred
Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor role. There is no base salary or hourly wage. Agents receive a generous commission structure based on policies sold and applicable carrier or agency guidelines.
