Full Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MRI/CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team in a community-focused healthcare setting. This position is ideal for a motivated imaging professional who enjoys working in a smaller hospital environment, values autonomy, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including MRI, CT, and X-ray, while working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI, CT, and X-ray equipment.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.
Follow established imaging protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
Assist with equipment quality control and routine maintenance.
Participate in the department's on-call rotation for holidays and vacation coverage.

Required Qualifications:

ARRT Certification (Required)
Minimum 3+ years of diagnostic imaging experience
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Positive attitude with a flexible, team-oriented approach
Willingness to relocate to Moab, UT (if not currently local)

Preferred:

Previous experience performing MRI and CT imaging
Multi-modality imaging experience
Cross-training in MRI and CT (training may be available for qualified candidates)

Work Schedule:

Full-time, non-exempt position
Day shift, Monday through Friday
Flexible scheduling with either:
3 x 12-hour shifts, or
4 x 10-hour shifts
Final schedule will be determined in collaboration with the selected candidate and departmental staffing needs.
Participation in an on-call rotation for holidays and vacation coverage.
