Summary:
The Corporate Risk Coordinator is responsible for administering the organization's property and casualty insurance programs, coordinating employee benefit-related compliance, supporting risk management initiatives, and providing administrative support across multiple corporate functions. This role serves as the primary liaison with insurance brokers, carriers, legal counsel, and internal departments to ensure effective risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Management & Insurance
- Administer corporate insurance policies, including renewals, underwriting, claims management, premium allocations, audits, and policy reconciliations.
- Serve as the primary contact for insurance coverage questions, certificates of insurance, and compliance matters.
- Coordinate claims reporting, litigation tracking, workers' compensation administration, and third-party damage recovery.
- Partner with insurance brokers and leadership to evaluate risk exposures and develop appropriate insurance strategies.
- Manage insurance licensing, continuing education, Errors & Omissions coverage, and regulatory filings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in risk management, insurance administration, benefits administration, or a related corporate role.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance, claims administration, employee benefits, and regulatory compliance.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) insurance licenses, or the ability to obtain and maintain them.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods (often 6-8 hours per workday).
- Ability to use computer, keyboard, and mouse for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift and carry office items, typically less than 35 pounds.
- Driving between work sites, occasionally.
