Full Job Description

Job Overview:

Be part of our growing Group Home company. We are seeking
caring and dedicated Direct Care Support / Mental Health Workers
to assist our mentally challenged clients with activities of daily living.
Training and guidance is provided. Must be 18 years old or older. Pay rate $11.00 hourly.

Shifts available are: 3pm-8pm,
3pm-10:00pm, 8am -8pm, 8pm - 8am/ Will include every other weekend rotation.

As a Direct Care Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve their goals
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is maintained
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of social work principles and caregiving techniques
- Ability to provide home care or hospice care services
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to assist individuals with mobility challenges
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations related to care facilities
- First aid certification is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
