Pre-Litigation Case Manager (Mobile Office)

About Us

Caldwell Wenzel & Asthana is a growing personal injury law firm serving clients across Alabama, Florida & Mississippi. Our Mobile office plays a vital role in supporting clients throughout Mobile County and the surrounding communities.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join our Mobile team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of cases from intake through demand stage while working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where your work truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

Position Overview

The Pre-Litigation Case Manager is responsible for managing a personal injury caseload from the initial client onboarding through settlement or transition to litigation. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, proactive follow-up, and the ability to guide clients through what is often one of the most stressful periods of their lives.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment and enjoys building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of personal injury files from intake through pre-suit resolution
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding treatment progress and case updates
Draft and send letters of representation to insurance carriers and providers
Coordinate property damage claims, including repairs, total loss negotiations, and rental arrangements
Request, track, and organize medical records and billing statements
Review records and prepare case summaries for attorney review
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on all case action items
Communicate with insurance adjusters as appropriate
Work closely with attorneys and demand team to move cases efficiently toward resolution

Qualifications

Prior personal injury case management experience is required.
Experience working in a law firm, insurance company, or medical office required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
Professional, compassionate demeanor when working with clients under stress
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
