FlexTrades is hiring Brake Press Operators to set up, operate, and adjust Amada press brake equipment to produce precision sheet metal components. This role is responsible for ensuring parts are formed accurately to blueprint specifications while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Set up, change over, and operate Amada HRB press brake machines
- Perform punch and die changes for multiple part runs throughout the shift
- Interpret blueprints and work from standard and metric measurements
- Adjust machine program variables to ensure parts meet specifications
- Form galvanized and mild steel sheet metal components
- Inspect parts to verify compliance with print requirements and tolerances
- Maintain quality standards throughout the production process
- Handle a high mix of part numbers and frequent changeovers
- Learn and operate spot welding equipment as needed
- Operate a forklift to move materials when required
Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating press brake equipment
- Experience performing machine changeovers and tooling changes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience working with sheet metal components
- Ability to perform quality inspections using print specifications
- Experience working to tight dimensional and angular tolerances
- Ability to work with both standard and metric measurements
- Forklift experience preferred
- Spot welding experience or willingness to learn
- Manufacturing experience in a production environment
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $32/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
