Full Job Description

Day shifts available working with developmentally disabled adults in a Care Facility. Shifts are 10, 12 or 13 hours. Overtime pay for all shifts after 8hrs. Opportunities for advancement. We have multiple facilities in Manteca.

Scheduling

Below is the average shift times some homes have different hours. We work holidays and weekends. This is not Monday through Friday job.

Sunday : 8pm-8am or 8am-8pm
Monday :10pm-9am or 10pm-9am
Tuesday : 10pm-9am or 10pm-9am
Wednesday : 10pm-9am or 10pm-9am
Thursday : 10pm-9am or 10pm-9am
Friday : 10pm-9am or 10pm-9am
Saturday : 8pm-8am or 8am-8pm

Requirements

Must come in for all shifts. MUST be reliable. We work with human lives and this is a requirement for employment
Willing to work with behaviors
Must pass a background check
This is an awake position. Must be alert and monitor the clients through the day
Must be able to read and write

Responsibilities

Provide direct support and care to patients in an assisted living facility
Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns
Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times
Respect and uphold the rights of residents in accordance with established guidelines
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
Monitoring clients throughout the day and follow program plan and activity schedule

Experience

Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
Previous experience working in a care home facility is preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Previous experience working with behaviors is preferred but not required
