Job Summary:
Scenic Faculty Medical Group is a group of physicians and other medical providers committed to providing quality health care to the underserved population of Stanislaus County, and as faculty physicians, to excel in teaching our Family Medicine Residents.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Coordinator. The Financial Coordinator will be responsible for various payroll and financial tasks, benefits enrollment, executing payroll for both physicians and office staff, pay tax filings, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial reports, and managing accounts receivable. Additionally, this role will involve onboarding new employees and contractors, as well as interfacing with tax accountants and banking representatives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Processing payroll accurately and timely
- Handling state and federal quarterly/annual payroll tax reporting
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Generating monthly financial reports
- Preparing invoices and monitoring accounts receivable
- Managing bank deposits
- Handling year-end W2 and 1099 filings
- Processing ACH payments
- Onboarding new employees and contractors
- Reconciliation of retreat expenses and other related tasks
- Conducting worker's comp audits
- Interfacing with tax accountants and banking representatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
- Strong excel, pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs
