Position Overview:
As the Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader, you will oversee and work alongside a small team to deliver high-quality landscape maintenance services for residential and commercial properties. You will lead by example, promote efficiency, and uphold company standards for professionalism, safety, and service.
What You’ll Do
Support a variety of landscape services, including design, development, maintenance, and enhancements. Tasks include:
LABORER
- Landscape maintenance: mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing, planting, mulching, weeding, pruning, and general cleanup
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers as needed
- Maintain flower beds and remove debris
- Load/unload materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team leads
CREW LEAD
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance tasks
- Oversee project timelines, material usage, and job quality
- Ensure properties are healthy, clean, and professionally maintained
- Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure all team members follow safety protocols
- Train, mentor, and support crew members
Qualifications:
- Drive company truck with 12’ trailer
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, including leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage crews effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, and lawn care techniques
- Ability to identify overwatering, irrigation breaks, and perform manual valve operations or water shut-offs
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible availability, including occasional extended hours and weekends
Schedule
- Year-round, part-time work (24–40 hours/week)
- 4–8 hour shifts
- Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work
- Overtime

- Outdoor settings with seasonal weather exposure
- Dust, fumes, grease, and tool-related noise
Physical Demands
- Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing
- Use of hands and fingers to operate tools and machinery

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
