We are looking for a passionate and motivated Aesthetic Laser Nurse to join the Aesthetic Lab team! In this role, you will provide safe, effective laser and aesthetic treatments while creating an exceptional experience for every patient. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform non-surgical treatments, such as laser treatments, supervised and limited injecting services, and other services within the scope of Nurse’s licensure and offered by the Company, with precision and attention to patient safety.
- Participate in all comprehensive hands-on training sessions and/or courses to master injection technique[s].
- Conduct consultations, assess patient needs, and develop personalized treatment plans in accordance with service standards.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and uphold clinical compliance standards.
- Maintain knowledge on industry trends, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained in safe working order, coordinate service and repairs when necessary, and oversee inventory of clinical supplies for all services.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and ensure OSHA and state nursing board standards are consistently met in every clinical procedure.
- Meet patient expectations and deliver high-quality care that aligns with Aesthetic Lab’s standards.
- Ensure that Good Faith Exam (GFE) is completed prior to any treatment.
- Create and manage content for exclusive use on Aesthetic Lab’s approved social media platforms.
- This job description covers the primary responsibilities; however, additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a clinical, acute care or hospital setting, or 2 – 3 years in a medical spa setting with intermediate experience in laser treatments and beginner-to-intermediate experience in injection treatments.
- Education: Satisfactory completion of injectable coursework covering neurotoxins/injectables, fillers, and basic facial anatomy offered by the American Aesthetics Institute or comparable training organization, required. Satisfactory completion of a laser course, preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in aesthetic services provided, including multiple laser treatment techniques, supervised and limited injection treatments, and patient care.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous documentation and procedural care.
- Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate varying work schedules, training schedule, and maintain focus in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Social Media: Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
- Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and growth within the aesthetic field, with a focus on innovation and safety, and satisfactory completion of injection technique training.
STRUCTURED TRAINING PROGRAM
- Hands-On Training and Protocol Development: Step-by-step, supervised training in foundational and advanced techniques for services offered, with responsibility for adherence to protocol.
- Weekly Mentorship and Assessment: Regular meetings with Aesthetic Nurse Injector + Laser, Supervisor to review performance, set goals, and provide personalized feedback and guidance.
- Monthly Skill Assessments: Competency assessments every month to monitor progress, provided constructive feedback, and set further goals.
- Continued Learning Opportunities: Access to advanced educational resources, conferences, and workshops to enhance skills and understand the latest practices in aesthetics.
COMPENSATION
- The listed pay range reflects compensation for the Laser Nurse role upon successful completion of training. A temporary training rate of $30.00/hour applies during the initial training period. Compensation will increase upon successful completion of training and demonstrated competency.
