The Opportunity
- Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- ED/UCC experience preferred.
- New grads welcome to apply.
- Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
The Practice
Doctors Medical Center – Modesto, California
- Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center.
- 456-bed medical center with a 29-bed Emergency Department.
- Patient mix is extremely diverse with varying acuity.
- ED x-ray, state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, and in-house RT, ED techs, etc.
- Annual volume of 107,000 for the ED.
- Most sub-specialty backup available.
- Vituity scribe support available.
- Top 5 cardiology sites in California with 24-hour catheterization lab.
- Central Valley Medical Education Award Emergency Medicine Adjunct Faculty of the Year.
