Full Job Description

Position Title : Quality Control Manager

Salary : 100K-130K/year

General Responsibilities :

1. Reviews the reports of QC activities being performed, any test reports of materials, or any problems during the day.

2. Implements internal/external quality requirements to ensure company products/services meet customer expectations.

3. Periodically trains production personnel to enhance their skill and knowledge of product quality requirements.

4. Performs analysis of raw materials and designs for quality, cost, and effectiveness.

5. Conducts and monitors the analysis/inspection of raw materials and final products to ensure compliance with set specifications.

6. Ensures QC check list is being followed and keeps the finalized checklist for review.

7. Ensures manufacturing processes comply with local and global standards of production.

8. Specifies quality requirements for raw materials obtained from vendors and suppliers.

9. Conducts quality audits to make sure set quality policies and procedures are being adhered to.

10. Oversees the training of quality assurance personnel to ensure an effective work unit.

11. Maintains proper records and documentation of quality tests and other quality-related activities.

12. Interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts.

13. Prepares and presents to senior management reports of quality operations.

14. Approves compliant products and reject defective ones.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related fields, preferred.

2. Knowledge of computer and measuring instruments.

3. Experience in an automotive manufacturing company strongly preferred.

4. 5+ year of experience in inspection and measurement at a manufacturing or processing company required.

5. Bilingual in English and Korean is required.

6. Analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

7. Close attention to detail.

8. Good organizational and strong interpersonal skills.

9. Overtime expected and required on short notice, with flexibility based on plant production schedules.

10. Proficient, quick and, comfortable with personal computer navigation and operation.

11. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

12. Flexibility based on plant production schedules.

4. Manages department supervisors and other office personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.

5. Periodically trains production personnel to enhance their skill and knowledge of product quality requirements.

6. Performs analysis of raw materials and designs for quality, cost, and effectiveness.

7. Conducts and monitors the analysis/inspection of raw materials and final products to ensure compliance with set specifications.

8. Ensures QC check list is being followed and keeps the finalized checklist for review.
