Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a focused, creative individual to become part of our tax team. In house, remote or hybrid options available. Out of state candidates welcome!

Job description

Preparation and review of federal and state income taxes primarily for entities and individuals
Builds new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
Prepares internal memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or state taxing authorities
Interpret the U.S. tax code.
Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax related issues.

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
CPA Certification preferred
3+ years prior tax experience in public accounting.
Experience preparing entities and individual tax returns.
Strong accounting and analytical skills.
Self-starter and team player with ability to recognize when additional hour commitments are needed and willingness to take on extra work to meet firm wide deadlines.
